Support Key Competence Development
On the 12th and 13th of November our pupils took part in a conference organized by the European Commission. ‘Supporting Key Competence Development’ discussed different learning approaches and environments in school education that support key competences development.
In today's world, young people need a broad set of skills. Besides the basic skill set, they also need the following key competences for personal fulfilment and development:
Literacy competence; multilingual competence; mathematical competence and competence in science; technology and engineering; digital competence; Personal, social and learning to learn competence; citizenship competence; entrepreneurship competence; cultural awareness and expression competence.
Our pupils discussed these competences with policymakers and various stakeholders. They also had the opportunity to network and visit exhibitions.
