The Magic Flute - the musical
We are delighted to invite you to discover the musical 'The Magic Flute', adapted from Mozart's opera and directed by our music teacher Pablo García. The show is the work of 200 primary and secondary pupils from EEB1 and EEB2 and combines music, singing, theatre, sets, costumes and sound effects designed and prepared by the children.
The musical will transport you to a fantasy world home to a giant snake, characters with magical powers and, as in every fairytale, a prince and princess. But in this fairytale world, the eternal battle between Good and Evil is waged. Can the heroes of the story defeat the darkness with just the help of a magic flute?
Our pupils will perform alongside two young opera singers who will take on two of the main roles: the Queen of the Night and Sarastro.
The show will take place on 6 May 2025 in the Salle Polyvalente, at 5.30pm in French and 7pm in English. The 60-minute performance is designed for children and adults. It is the perfect opportunity to discover this opera in a lighter, more accessible way.
