Eurosport Laeken 2026
Six months spent during lunch breaks trying to master sports and techniques that are new to the pupils. Six months of working and practising together under the time pressure of the next lesson. Learning to overcome obstacles on an empty stomach. In short, the perfect ingredients for building a close-knit team. The rest of the story is already history.
The EEB2 Eurosport team managed to distinguish itself in all aspects of the competition among 26 European schools, whilst fair play always remained the top priority.
On the first day of the competition, the Ultimate Frisbee team came secondĀ and EEB2 won the 3v3 basketball competition.
On the second day, the Pickleball team came seventh and the Touch Rugby team finished second.
Finally, on the last day, the whole team secured another second place in an Obstacle Run relay.
This deserves a huge pat on the back for the entire Eurosport team. Thanks to these results, our school won the overall competition by a comfortable margin, which can be described as an exceptional achievement.
The Eurosport competition in Laeken 2026, with its many experiences, encounters and impressions, was the reward for the efforts made throughout the school year. The trophy is the icing on the cake.
Well done and thank you to our students and teaching staff!
