Belgian Physics Olympiads 2026
Two of our S7 pupils, Alexander Dobrucki and Yann Baar, participated in the Belgian Physics Olympiads.
They successfully passed the qualifying stage and the second round, in which the twelve highest-scoring students were selected. They then took part in an intensive training camp with these students, followed by a final examination consisting of both theoretical and practical problems.
We are very proud to report that they both achieved excellent results: Alexander placed fourth, while Yann placed first. As a result, he has been selected to represent Belgium at the European Physics Olympiad in Gothenburg, Sweden, from 12 June to 16 June, and at the International Physics Olympiad in Bucaramanga, Colombia, from 4 July to 12 July.
