Europa in Canto
On Monday 22 June, the pupils from the Italian section (Wol + Eve) went to the Cirque Royal to attend a performance of Giuseppe Verdi’s opera Aida.
For many months, the children had been working on the OperaMus association’s “Europa InCanto” project, which is also supported by the Italian Embassy, and on Monday they finally performed on stage alongside professional opera singers.
It was extraordinary to see so many children take to the stage, sing Giuseppe Verdi’s famous arias and enjoy such a meaningful artistic experience
