eTwinning Prize & Quality Label

The “Earth Guardians” project, developed by teacher Liliana Rodrigues with class S2PTA last school year, has been awarded the 2025 National eTwinning Quality Label and a European eTwinning Prize.

The project aimed to promote sustainable development, encouraging students to become active and responsible citizens in protecting the planet. Working together with students from different countries, participants created and implemented eco-challenges designed to reduce the ecological footprint and foster sustainable everyday habits — such as responsible resource use, energy and water conservation, and waste reduction.

The project also addressed several United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), inviting students to reflect on the role of education in building a fairer and more sustainable future.

The official award ceremony will take place on 7 November, during the Cérémonie des Étoiles européennes in Brussels.
